【開発秘話】インドで出会った高価な小瓶

フェイスオイルの原点は、インドで出会った小瓶。頭皮オイルのレシピを授けてくれた女性ドクターが置いていた、ひときわ高価なクンクマディオイルでした。

「どうしてこれだけ、こんなに高いの?」「サフランオイルだからよ」

それまで美容オイルが苦手だったのですが、そのオイルは驚くほど心地よく、肌が安定していく。こんなオイルは初めてでした。そこで製品化を志すも原料調達で断念。2本目のスカルプオイル開発で道が開け、クンクマディオイルを継ぐ夜用オイルが完成しました。

お客様の声から生まれたフェイスオイル

頭皮ヘアオイルの発売後、お客様や美容師さんから「肌に使っても良かった」という声が届くようになりました。

頭皮と髪のための処方が、なぜ肌にも？配合オイルを一つずつ分析し、肌と髪それぞれへの働きを調べ直してわかったのは、オイルは使う場面に合わせて処方してこそ力を発揮し、組み合わせ次第で可能性は無限に広がるということ。

オイルは一見どれも同じように見えますが、実は鮮度が大切な、とても繊細な素材です。
一方で、水を含まずオイルだけで仕上げる化粧品は、防腐剤や界面活性剤、乳化剤を加える必要がありません。余計なものを足さずに、化粧品として完成できる。これはシンプルに、すごいことです。
